Sooo, midi much?...

Ok im being generous with the 6/10 here, i THINK you used a midi, in that case this is a 2/10...

The 6/10 review (judging you by the conception that you did NOT use a MIDI): Ok you got all the notes right, i love that. Its so fail when people do this type of thing and doesnt even get their shit right! So thats a big plus... but, yeah... to be honest this lacks so much energy and variety its freaky. You just replaced the original with bader sounds :P... thats the really harsh truth, and i like to be truthfull and depthfull in my reviews, reviewing fairly and honestly. So yeah, thats that, you got the notes right, and the rythms and whatnot, but thats about it.

----

The review based on the conception that you DID use a MIDI (2/10)...

Dude, lame.

6/10 /// (2/10 if you used a MIDI).

Cool! :)

This is really cool, i love the slicing of the vocals and everything slides smoothly along, well done!

Nothing wrong with the sound or anything, and the breaks really live up to your standard! ;)

hahaha yay!! glad you love it!! lova ya!!

Cool :)

I really enjoyed the percs, the entire song had a nice "theme" over it. I really enjoyed it.

Good work on vocals, detailing and on mixing it nice and easy. Keep up the good work! :)

Ugh...

Guru Josh Project - Infinity (NG Dance Version)...

You took the vocals, added the trumpet, offbeat... i mean its IN beat, but according to the original, which is what ill put my mind too. It just sounds plain wrong. I THINK its the breakbeat doing it.

So yeah the top line basicly explained it all, this is the original gone NG dance noob on everyones ass. Its clipping, and it has some major mixing errors aside of the from the fact that the structure is even more boring than the original. Its higher BPM, and LONGER... you repeat the same parts over, and over, and over, and over again. Now im not one of those ADD impaired NG'rs, i actually like something repedative, it just needs to not suck this much... i believe would be the simplest way to put it...

Oh its TIMM43!? Hey dude! Mam, sir?...mom? :S

Sooo, thats my review... its what i think and there are absolutely no tips in there... i should write some.

Clipping - please fix it. Do that by lowering the volume and compress that badboy. Make sure nothing maxes out your dB meter, eaaiest way of putting it!

Repedativeness (Im 100% sure thats mispelled) - THe original is 3 something minutes long i think, and THAT one is slower, and THAT one has gotten some repedativeness complaints from many producers. So, you having it faster, and much longer, just makes this very, very longstretched. So i guess my tip here would be, to either make a club mix next time, if you want a longer song, or to shorten it down to a radio mix. Because this isnt an extended mix either... its just, one song repeated three times. Basicly...

The breakbeat thing - make sure your beats enhance the experience of the main attraction (vocals, lead, whatever...), not subtract attention away from them. I do not only think about the intro, the climax is very, weird, the original riff was intended for electro usage, that in a saw lead and with newbie NG dance beat just sounded plain wrong and weak. And very crowded and loose...

4/10 (its a song nontheless, giving it a 4/10.)

Yeah... uhm, yayz on the top 5, grats.

Cya!

TMM43 responds:

First, let me thank you for the GREAT review!
I would like to see more reviews that are this in depth. :D

Clipping - I honestly can't tell with the speakers I have unfortunately. :( I hate clipping, but it seems to be a very common theme with some of my later songs. I am working on it however, i.e. sending it to friends, and getting new headphones. So hopefully my songs will sound better with less clipping in the future. :D

Repetitivness - (yeah you butchered the word haha) Again, another common theme with my songs. It seems to be a very big problem of mine. It's a horrible feature of mine, but it's there...annoying me, and people like you. I'm working on some new mixes and collabs, so I'll definitely keep this in mind.

The breakbeat thing - Yeah I had some troubles with the vocals. I wanted them to sound more full, but for some reason they also were muffled in the breakbeat. It was really strange. I liked the way the vocals sounded through out
the song, so I left it.

Thanks a lot for your feed back, I honestly don't care how low you voted/scored, just as long as you had a reason as to why, and you my friend, had a GREAT review.

Again, thanks. :D

Cool (Y)

I like it, has standard (but well executed) builds etc. And it has alot of energy, sooo, the average ADD impaired NG'r is going to love this. No part lasts for more than 15 seconds, thats their concentration time span!

Cool lead, "Nexus>Dance Leads>Cosmic Coverage"?, cool drums, and some very nice scratches in there :) Congrats you are just as good as "Splash"!, who has been doing this for 8 years... take heart in that, but also take in your pride that he is Danish, sooo, yeah...

You go girl! Some cute Hands Up ish stuff going on here, loving the piano part, going all slow breakdown on my ass. Yeah! Hah, nice work bud.

9/10 (because, well, its good, but its a very crowded mix and your having some very loud crashes in there and the shuffle to 4x4 beat transition was slightly off and "rushed".)
5/5

Good song, standard generic Hands Up with some wrapped up goodieness in it, and the fact that its SO altering in such short time spans, this should go great on NG, so no worries. THem mo fos wont reach wont even reach to hit "0" before your at the climax, thats what triggers a very interesting reflex that makes 'em go nuts in a review spamming one letter, and oftenly the word "awesomness" or "omg" (slang for Oh My God).

Sooo, peace, out!

-J.C.

Prodigal responds:

Hah. I love your enthusiasm. I used 3xOsc for the lead, no nooby nexus here! IM AS GOOD AS SPLASH? OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGMOMOGGMO.

Slow breakdown owns you.

9/10 :O :O :O :O :O (Oh well xD)

In conclusion, LOVE UR REEVEW. I wish more people would review.

Its awesome...

Rihanna - Disturbia, only 100 times more well executed "creepyness" and 100 times as not complete garbage!

Great chord progression, i think the piano combined with that exact sample (humning sample), creates just a very euphoric creepyness. The pads in the back fills it out, and the percussions just bind it all together by combining the piano with the sample.

I love the feel it gives and i love how it so perfectly fits the genre, well done!

Thanks for the kind review. I'm glad the creepiness came over well, that's what counts in the end. (: thanks.

Astonishing ;)

I'm glad it made you mellowed out. And that's good.
We, The Dutch, are proud to present:

LEGAL CANNABIS! THE #1 RESOURCE IN GETTING YOURSELF CALM!

And for the rest, some time in fruity loops might've helped too... But that takes away all the magic now doesn't it, Jahn? ; )

Thanks again!

I DID!---

Get to dreaming and i did also get some relaxation out of this. It was amazing, three words that sum up my feelings about this song. This is good old classic YOU man (and that Arkanoid guy, i just mean that the feelings i drag from this songs i also get from those you sometimes make). Would fit amazingly well in a movie, the song just has a theme to it... amazing work! ;) The ONLY thing i would take out are those scratches with some reeverb to them (the reeverb is a little bit to bassy maybe).

Great job! (Y)

Thank you for your time.

tijnn responds:

Thanks for the kind review man, i actually like all the reverb through the track, it kinda gives me that distant, old record, dreamy sound...

Anyways, i'm glad you think it's thematic, i really tend to be at my best with that kind of feelings.... Just ehm...

Thanks (:

Great! (Y)

Absolutely loved it, fell in love with the amazing progression!

Keep it up man, your going places with this, thats coming from the most cynical msucian there is when it comes to odds of succeeding...

Thanksss! :D

Thanks as well for the motivation and kind words :3

Thank YOU for you time! (I like saying that lol)

I liked it! ;)))

Really nice voice, and the lyrics are very, very very good. Well done, the beat is also nice, no idea if you made it, and WAY to lazy to read the stuff in the author thing!

You sound a BIT nervous, which takes away from the experience. And, for me that goes on the score... no stress though, when you get over being nervous for using your full voice, you will sound, A-MA-ZINNNNNNNNNNNG!

Really, keep it up man, this was cool (Y)
