Nice ;-]

Unbelievably nice work on finishing it!

This is really great, alot of simularities compared to your top 5 track, but i like that... sometimes you gotta keep a theme through your songs... a red line if you will, for people to remember you by ;)))

This is awesome, lovely beat yet again. Alot of percs to fill the sound specter out, and its very very very deep. A good love song to go on my phone as my wake up call ;)))

Your definate best, original and newcreating ;]

Great job on this! -b

I love the intro, its so wacky and awesome at the same time... beat boxing and the funny beep in the back makes it an intro that makes me wanna listen more ;)

You go on a little by little adding more and more sounds, which then again makes me just wanna hear MORE and MORE!!! I simply love this!

Great work on the chord progressions, the awe inspiring touch of the synth (i think the hard synth sound contributes to make this feel), and the GREAT depth and dynamic quality of this song, really impresses me, great work ;)

The structure is also perfect, which is something that you have clearly gotten better on the last couple of months :)

Beautifull :)

I watched the anime, and that made me love this nice track even more... beautifull!

Great work, i have to say that this could indeed be the intro of the most proffesional anime out there, and it really did fit as the intro for In My Arms Collab.

The piano is both mastered in a dramatic way, and the way it plays also contributes to making the entire feel of the song... when you add the 4x4 kick i got chills, nice mastering on the kick, not too hard, not too soft...

Great work on the dynamics, and the overall feel of the song really gets to you, i love this...

Sorry for the short review, but this is just the best song i heard on NG; and theres not too much to say about it really, exept for the fact that it is perfect and that i love it ;)))

Thank you for your time.

Hell, nice song dude!

Wow i liked this, dramatic!

Nice intro, you had a really nice dramatic piano/pad thing going on. The choirs in the back really bring the intro together and makes me want to hear more... a proffesional intro is the right word ;) After this you kind of change the entire mood, which is a thing i also tend to do, i liked what you brought in there, it had a nice inspiring feel to it!

The chorus, ehm... in my opinion the beat seems to be a little too weak to support the strong feeling your going for here. The crashes are very huge and hidden away (the crash sample sound itself is a very large sound, but the mastering/volume addjustment made it dissapear.) The kick is drowning, this is a thing i see alot of people doing lately, and i really dont like it when such great ideas end up half as good as their potential because the kick is weak... a tip atleast from me would be to find a new layer for your kick, and to compress it too give it that extra "thump"! This may ofcourse just be my own personal opinon ;]

Nice structure, you swithed it upalot which is a thing i like, you kept me interested all through, nice job ;)))

A truly nice idea, and overall a great mix. Only thing i would want is a stronger kick that gave the track a powerboost!

Thank you for your time.

Nice going m8! ^_^

Sweet song man, i like it alot!

Cool beat, very R&B... this song should go under pop or R&B btw! I like the reverse sounds and the depth of the beat, it has alot of nice features, ALOT of different sounds for one beat!

I enjoyed your harmonic/peacefull leads/sounds for your melodies, pan flute, and all the pads fit!

Its a nice mix, theres really nothing more to say... im sorry for the short review!

Great :]

Really great song, Kr1z style ;)))

Love the intro, the pads are very harmonic. Nice flow on them, and the chords are nice ;) (F777 is a epic trance genius!), I love your kick, it has alot of power and depth, nice job on both the layering and the mastering :)

I like your Rob Mayth styled bridge before the chorus, it charges the song very nicely, and the thin kind of high pitched snare in the back helps alot! nice vocal, i think maybe the slicing could be a LITTLE more tight, because i can hear its out of rythm by just a little bit ;)

The transitions and bridges are really pure. This song is tight, which i LOVE. It has a simplicity that is nice to find in Hands Up, so many people out there tend to just throw sounds in there and make the whole thing a clutter of sounds, you made the mastering crisp and clear, and the song is very dynamic ;)

Nice structure also, you bring both aggresive and harmonic touches to a very detailed mix, great job, i love it!

Kr1z responds:

Intro pads - Thank you! I love the chords, gj F-777 ;-)
Kick - Yeh working alot on kicks lately :D Going more harddance/ hands up 'ish.
Rob Mayth - the bridge teaser thingy could be better but hey its a start.. glad you already liked it!
Slicing - I'm new to slicing so you're probably right!
Transitions - I worked quite hard on them. Thanks!!
Master - Yeh im mixing & mastering my songs quite decently lately :D Thanks!
Structure - Yesh! Glad you liked it :D

Thanks for the wicked review!
I checked your song too =D

Cheers,

Kr1z.

Sweet man :-]

Nice man, harmonic!

I like all the sounds really, it gives me the clear feeling of summer! This could actually be a theme for a serious Hollywood movie by my first impression (its a demo), or it could slide right into the roll as a theme for the new Zelda game :] (apart from the other MAIN MAIN theme lawl.)

Nice work on the pads, the chord progression is nice (the tiny portion i got through listening to a demo), i really like the dramatic touch to the notes. There really is a clear feel of greatness in this ;)))

Nice to have some percussion in the backgrounds, some when they make ambient (i know this is classical, but some actually do this when making classical to), feel the immediate emotion either to have NO drums (which sucks) or to, for whatever reason, mix in INDUSTRIAL drums!?!?!? You mixed in nice tambourines and some nice toms to bring the song (demo) some depth.

I really want too hear the full, because my immediate impression of the demo is that this is a great song, worthy of some attention ;))) (I think this is the first song i heard by you, i though your career was reviewing LOL! XD).

Thank you for your time.

Hah, i'm pretty sure you've reviewed some of my other songs bro. Either way, nahh i've been writing music for almost 2 years now (give or take). Feel free to listen to some of my work who knows it may jog your memory that you've reviewed me haha. Anyway, yeah i plan on adding more percussion to this for sure and it DOES have a ambient feel to it wich i wanted it to have even though i'm labeling this under Classical (basicly because of all the strings and the percs). Thanks for the review buddy!

Sweet :]

Dude, this song is great. Unique!

Great style you have, i loved the intro. You brought it right in with some "aggresive" notes and broke it down to one of the most peacefull parts i ever heard... the reverse cymbal had a nice touch by ending slightly short of the 4x4 beat, and creating a nice effect, just the right amount of delay to. The piano is crystal clear and the mastering on it is amazing. Now the choir lead you bring on after this is amazing, it brings me back to 80s/90s styled techno, which i cant help loving, the way it slightly "slides" from time to time gives me boners (totally normal from times to times, no?) And the note progression, is chillingly beautifull, it really is.

The chorus, my god... the chorus. The full, so rich. The way you partly added more techno styled sounds before it lead up into a great part, and the dynamics of the entire song is AMAZING! Everything fits in the chorus, and makes it easy to listen to. The pads, the lead, the drums (you have a unique kick ;)), and the clap... everything contributing to making a great song!

Nice breakdown in the verse, keeping your 80s/90s feel with the piano, but making it slightly more "aggresive, or straight forward by dropping the thin choir lead, and then partly leading the song up to another chorus ;) You kept away from mainstream buildups (as i rarely manage to do.) You had SOME addjustments i think from the 1st to the 2nd chorus, which made me keep interest ;)))

Now comes the standard hands up/hhc outro, which i love. You break it down sound by sound and keep only one note not a bassline. The volume slide down worked, as it seldom does for me actually!

An amazing song, nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Originality and awe inspiring elements made this track one of my all time favorites on Newgrounds ;)

Thank you for your time.

Great!

But the snare IS a little loud!

Turn down the snare and you have a SERIOUSLY tight beat! Great work on the nice flow in the bass, and the drums are great. Beat just keeps "strollin" by ;)))
